Unauthorised interference with the fueling characteristics will have an adverse effect on engine durability and cooling capability. Customers must be made aware that this practice is not recommended and that Warranty will be compromised. Reproduced below is the relevant extract from the Warranty Policy and Procedures
Manual - Section One . 17
VEHICLE CONVERSIONS
If a vehicle has been converted then the Warranty Conditions are explicit in that no responsibility will be accepted where the part has required repair or replacement as a result of the vehicle having been altered from the Manufacturers specification. Warranty must therefore always be referred to the vendor if the failure can be attributed to a conversion. Where dealers are aware of conversions, then these should be notified to Land Rover Warranty.
