Problem -
STEERING WHEEL MOUNTED AUDIO OR CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH IS LOOSE OR DETACHED
Cause
Failure of the rivet securing the circuit board to the switch body.
Action
Where a complaint of the above is confirmed, follow the Workshop Manual procedure below to replace the loose or detached steering wheel mounted switch with a new switch now available from Land Rover parts.
Workshop Manual Procedure For remote audio control switch:
Refer to Workshop Manual, part number LRL0350 (5 th edition),
Driver Controls, Switch - remote control - audio system, repair number 86.50.13.
For cruise control switch: Refer to Workshop Manual, part number LRL0350 (5 th edition), Fuel Delivery System - Petrol, Switch - multi-purpose, repair number 19.75.33.
