Re-Issue Information
Problem -
REDUCED ALARM HANDSET RANGE
Cause
Alarm aerial incorrectly positioned.
Action
Where a complaint of the above is confirmed, follow the rectification procedure below to relocate the alarm aerial.
1. Remove instrument cowl, refer to Workshop Manual, part number LRL0350 (5 th edition), Instrument - Repair - Cowl, instrument - repair number 88.20.02.
2. Remove 4 screws securing instrument pack upper finisher to fascia. Remove the instrument pack upper finisher.
3. Release the clip securing the alarm aerial from the underside of the instrument pack retaining bracket (Inset 'A' in illustration 1).

4. Position alarm aerial and clip above the instrument pack retaining bracket and secure to the original hole (Inset 'B' in illustration 1).
5. Fit the instrument pack upper finisher to the fascia and secure with screws.
6. Fit instrument cowl, refer to Workshop Manual, part number LRL0350 (5 th edition), Instrument - Repair - Cowl, instrument - repair number 88.20.02.
