Re-Issue Information - AFFECTED RANGE and ACTION: amended.
Problem -
ELECTRIC WINDOWS DO NOT OPERATE
Cause
Window lift fuse blown and / or the window lift switch is jammed.
Action
Where a complaint of the above is confirmed, follow the relevant rectification procedure below.
Rectification procedure for vehicles up to VIN 2A 360697
1. Replace fuse 33 with fuse RTC4506.
2. Replace fuse 34 with fuse RTC4506.
3. Fit new fuse box label, YQS000271, with the revised rating over existing label.
4. Replace both front window lift switches YUF101521LNF. Refer to Workshop Manual, part number LRL0144, Electrical, Console Switch, repair number 86.25.19.
5. Please insert a copy of the attached supplement into the Owners Handbook.
Rectification procedure for vehicles from VIN 2A 360697 to 2A 386263
NOTE: Do not replace the window lift switches. Vehicles in the above VIN range have the latest window lift switches fitted.
1. Replace fuse 33 with fuse RTC4506.
2. Replace fuse 34 with fuse RTC4506.
3. Fit new fuse box label, YQS000271, with the revised rating over existing label.
4. Please insert a copy of the attached supplement into the Owners Handbook.
