REAR SEAT ARMREST SQUEAK ON USE - FIXINGS
When rear seat armrest is lowered or raised, a squeak can be heard.
Cause
Armrest fixing bracket design.
Action
Replace armrest fixing brackets with modified type as follows:
1. Referring to illustration, remove trim board A from behind arm rest to expose the 2 armrest fixings.
2. Undo the 2 fixings securing armrest brackets B to squab and withdraw armrest.
3. Separate brackets from armrest by undoing the 4 bracket to armrest Torx fixings, (retain plastic spacers C for re-assembly), discard brackets.
4. Assemble new brackets HTL100920 and HTL100930 to armrest (include previously removed plastic spacers) and tighten fixings.
5. Re-locate armrest and refit bracket to squab fixings.
6. Refit arm rest trim board.
