Problem -
BONNET SQUEAK ON OPENING - HINGE TO PLENUM CONTACT
Bonnet hinge contact with its apertures in plastic plenum cover. Noise occurs when bonnet is opened.
Cause
All vehicles have lubrication applied to bonnet hinge sides from manufacture. Over a period of vehicle use this may require re-application.
Action
Identify area of fouling (arrowed in illustration) and apply Krytox lubricant part number CYK100050 L.
