Problem -
HIGH REAR SEAT SQUAB RELEASE AND SHUT LOADS - STRIKER SETTING
Customer complains of difficulty in releasing or securing the rear seat squab/s.
Cause
Squab striker loop incorrectly set.
Action
Reset the striker/s using the following procedure:
1. Release squab and fold down.
2. Slacken the two 13 mm AF screws retaining the striker loop so that it is just free to move .
3. Re-latch the squab onto the striker loop.
4. Release squab and fold down.
5. Tighten screws whilst pushing the loop outboard, ensuring that the loop is maintained in a horizontal position. Torque to 25 Nm.
6. Re-latch seat and check latch performance.
