Problem -
FRONT SEAT NOISE - LACK OF SLIDE LUBRICATION
Squeaks or creaking from either front seat while vehicle is in motion.
Cause
Lack of lubrication in the following areas:
- Inboard and outboard trigger teeth
- Trigger system including spring
- Release wire and brackets
Action
Referring to illustrations, apply ‘Instant Spray Grease’ part number STC 9155 to the following areas:
- Inboard and outboard trigger teeth (A).
- Bearing and trigger of the low inertia trigger system (B).
- Trigger spring (C).
- Spring leg register point (D)
Release wire and brackets (E)
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Before using STC 9155 - (Instant Spray Grease), shake can well and ensure adequate ventilation. Always follow instructions and cautions supplied with product.
